Uiterlijk van de plant:

De Dypsis Lutescens, ook wel bekend als de Areca-palm, heeft elegante, licht gebogen bladeren die in weelderige trossen groeien. De bladeren zijn levendig groen met een fijne, gevederde structuur, wat de plant een sierlijke en luchtige uitstraling geeft. De stengels zijn slank en hebben een zachte, geelgroene tint die perfect harmonieert met de bladeren. De plant produceert zelden bloemen binnenshuis, maar wanneer ze bloeien, zijn ze klein en geel.

Standplaats:

De Dypsis Lutescens gedijt het beste op een lichte plek, maar vermijd direct zonlicht. Plaats de plant in de woonkamer, slaapkamer of kantoor voor een tropische sfeer. Hij kan ook in halfschaduw staan, maar zal dan minder snel groeien.

Waterbehoefte:

De Areca-palm houdt van een licht vochtige potgrond. Geef de plant regelmatig water, zodat de grond licht vochtig blijft, maar vermijd dat de wortels in stilstaand water staan. In de winter kan de watergift iets worden verminderd.

Verzending:

Wij verpakken jouw producten in een stevige, speciaal voor (kamer)planten ontworpen doos. De planten en de potgrond worden beschermd door een beschermhoes. De kamerplanten worden vastgezet in de doos. Zo wordt jouw plant niet alleen vers en gezond, maar ook ongeschonden geleverd.
