Uiterlijk van de plant:
  • De Aloe Spider/Hylocereus Undatus Duo bestaat uit twee opvallende planten. De Aloe Spider heeft stekelige, langwerpige bladeren die een prachtige groene kleur hebben, vaak met een vleugje grijs of blauw. De Hylocereus Undatus, ook bekend als de Dragon Fruit cactus, heeft platte, groene bladeren met scherpe randen en kan in de zomer prachtige, grote witte bloemen produceren.
Standplaats:
  • Beide planten geven de voorkeur aan veel licht. Zet ze op een zonnige plek, zoals een vensterbank met direct zonlicht. Ze kunnen zowel binnen als buiten worden geplaatst, maar de Hylocereus Undatus heeft een beetje extra zon nodig om optimaal te bloeien.
Waterbehoefte:
  • De Aloe Spider heeft weinig water nodig. Laat de grond tussen de gietbeurten volledig opdrogen. De Hylocereus Undatus heeft iets meer water nodig, maar ook hier is het belangrijk om te wachten tot de grond droog aanvoelt voordat je opnieuw water geeft. Beide planten moeten goed kunnen afdraineren om wortelrot te voorkomen.
