De goudpalm, ook wel bekend als Areca palm, Dypsis lutescens of Chrysalidocarpus lutescens, is een volle, groene kamerplant met veerachtige bladeren. Deze bladeren zijn sierlijk en nuttig tegelijk. De Areca palm is namelijk een sterk luchtzuiverende kamerplant. De goudpalm heeft het allemaal. Met zijn sierlijke bladeren en volle groei is het een stralende verschijning in de woonkamer. De Areca palm is onderdeel van het Air So Pure-label, wat betekent dat het een sterk luchtzuiverende kamerplant is. Zo is de Dypsis lutescens goed in het filteren van allerlei chemische stoffen uit de lucht, zoals benzeen en formaldehyde. Daarnaast helpt deze kamerplant om de luchtvochtigheid op peil te houden; de plant kan grote hoeveelheden water verdampen. De Areca goudpalm komt van oorsprong uit de tropen van Madagaskar. Op dit eiland aan de oostkust van Afrika is het klimaat tropisch. Binnenshuis geeft deze kamerplant daarom de voorkeur aan een hoge luchtvochtigheid. Geleverd samen met een Viber pot. De pot is gemaakt van bioplastic met olifantengras van Nederlandse bodem. De pot is biologisch afbreekbaar en natuurlijk gekleurd door krijt. Door de lichte natuurlijke kleur past deze pot in verschillende interieurs.
