De Dracaena marginata is een groene kamerplant die een vleugje tropen naar je huis brengt. Het lijkt enigszins op een palmboom, met een stevige stam en lange, slanke bladeren. Het is een ideale keuze voor mensen met minder groene vingers. Oorspronkelijk te vinden in Afrika, verschijnt de Dracaena soms ook in tropische regio's, voornamelijk in hoger gelegen gebieden, waar hij hoogtes tot wel 14 meter kan bereiken! In zijn stam bewaart de Dracaena water en voedingsstoffen als reserve, voor het geval dat hij ze later nodig heeft. Hierdoor kan de plant ook geruime tijd zonder water! De Dracaena staat ook bekend als de drakenbloedboom vanwege het rode hars dat uit de stam lekt als je deze snijdt. Er zijn tal van legendes over deze plant, waaronder een verhaal waarin wordt beweerd dat hij ontstond tijdens een gevecht tussen een olifant en een draak. De vertakkingen van deze boom worden vaak geassocieerd met de meerdere koppen van een draak. Geleverd samen met een Viber pot. De pot is gemaakt van bioplastic met olifantengras van Nederlandse bodem. De pot is biologisch afbreekbaar en natuurlijk gekleurd door krijt. Door de lichte natuurlijke kleur past deze pot in verschillende interieurs.
