Uiterlijk van de plant: De Tradescantia Yellow Hill is een levendige kamerplant met opvallende, langwerpige bladeren. De bladeren zijn geelgroen met subtiele paarse tinten aan de onderkant, wat zorgt voor een prachtig kleurcontrast. De plant groeit in een hangende vorm, waardoor hij ideaal is voor in hangpotten of op verhoogde oppervlakken. De Tradescantia kan ook kleine, delicate bloemen produceren, meestal in lichte tinten zoals wit of roze.

Standplaats: Deze plant gedijt het best op een plek met veel indirect licht, maar kan ook overleven in halfschaduw. Vermijd direct zonlicht, aangezien dit de bladeren kan beschadigen. Perfect voor binnenruimtes zoals woonkamers of kantoren, maar kan tijdens warme periodes ook buiten worden gezet op een beschutte plaats.
