  • Uiterlijk van de Yucca Elephantipe: De Yucca Elephantipe, ook wel bekend als de Olifantenpalm, heeft lange, smalle, donkergroene bladeren die uit een stevige stam groeien. De bladeren hebben scherpe uiteinden en vormen een sierlijke rozet. De stam is dik en verhout, en kan een robuuste uitstraling geven, wat de plant een tropische uitstraling geeft.
  • Standplaats: De Yucca Elephantipe gedijt het beste op een zonnige plek. Zowel binnen als buiten kan de plant goed geplaatst worden, zolang hij voldoende licht krijgt. Buiten kan hij goed groeien in een tropisch of subtropisch klimaat, terwijl hij binnen goed gedijt in een lichte kamer.
  • Waterbehoefte: De Yucca heeft weinig water nodig en houdt van droge periodes tussen de gietbeurten. Het is belangrijk de grond goed te laten drogen voordat je opnieuw water geeft. Overbewatering kan leiden tot wortelrot.
